Hello! I'm Rieka Robertson (Lehto) and I am the founder of Fundamentally Free. I am currently living in Utah but I grew up in Washington State in the Seattle congregation of the LLC and then moved 7 times between states (Minnesota, Alaska, Montana, and Utah) before I settled down in Utah. I officially left the Laestadian Lutheran Church in August of 2022 and I am finally truly at peace for the first time in my life. I love to be active and spend time outdoors and I am also mildly obsessed with my Australian Shepherd (my dream dog), Nellie, who makes me laugh out loud and drives me a little crazy all at the same time. I am now a wife and step-mother to 4 beautiful girls and I love my new life!
Hi! I'm Karen Tolkkinen from Minnesota. I grew up in the Minneapolis branch of the LLC and I'm related to Wisuris and Ericksons and some of the Seattle Karvonens. I grew up in the 1970s and 1980s during the time of caretaking meetings, which were so scary and brutal. I left when I was 30. One of the best things I've ever done.
